Adopted by Rajya Sabha member MC Mary Kom under SGSY scheme as to be developed as model village . The project focuses on the unique natural features like topography, water network, settlement areas or pockets, agricultural land and their preservation with increasing population. The traditional methods of building, plot layout remain a big agenda in the project which does not exist on map or document. This is important keeping the development vision for next 20-30 years. For easy accessibility and safety the stretch of NH passing through village has been proposed for allocation of dedicated footpaths, NMT Lanes, crossings, bus stand, services and hawkers zone.

Based on prevailing conditions the management involves phasing of construction process and accordingly necessary traffic / rout diversion guided by safety measures like road signages/marking, segregation of pedestrian movement and streamlining of vehicular movement and traffic marshal deployment.
